The Madonna del Rosario Listening Center was born in 1983, becoming a Voluntary association on November 8, 1986.
The Association ‘Madonna del Rosario Listening Center’ was born from the diocesan Caritas of Ales-Terralba: it operates throughout Sardinia for prevention, treatment and socio-working reintegration of drug addicts, alcoholics, new drug users and with psychiatric morbidity (dual diagnosis). The Association also works in favor of minor at risk, the elderly and the mentally ill.
Our commitment is also in international solidarity projects, especially in Honduras, Tchad and Tanzania.
The Madonna del Rosario Listening Center Association makes use of network work and carries out its activities with: public authorities, addiction services, mental health centers, Courts, UEPE and USSM, penitentiary institutions, private and third sector associations.
In over 30 years of activity the Madonna del Rosario Listening Center has founded:
- the Addiction Service
- the “Alle Sorgenti” Therapeutic Community for drug addicts
- the “San Michele” Therapeutic Community for drug addicts
- the “San Michele 2” Pedagogical-Rehabilitation Community for social-working reintegration
- the Community of Aid acceptance “Il Salvatore”
- the Protected Psychiatric Community “Betania”
- the Nursing Home for the elderly “Casa Santi Anna e Gioacchino”
- Community housing for minors Casa Main
